If I have problems, how do I get help? Edit
Most of the questions you will have will be available in these FAQ's. Should you have other questions, please contact our Support Staff by fillout a request form on the tab marked "Contact Us". 
   
Do I need special hardware or software to read the eBooks I download? Edit

You can use your computer, laptop or hand-held device. Reader software is free. As long as you have the free Adobe Reader which you can download from this website, you can read eBooks.

The Adobe Acrobat Reader can be downloaded for free at http://www.adobe.com/reader

   
After I purchase a book how do download it and where? Edit
When you purchase a book, there is an option to "download now".  It downloads to your computer; wherever you tell it to be stored…the default is usually to "my documents" on your computer. You may download your books at anytime by simply logging into your account. Look at your "My Purchased Products", and a list will populate.  Click on any book where it is highlighed "download now".
   
What program do I need to open a pdf file? Edit

Acrobat Reader. It can be downloaded for free at http://www.adobe.com/reader

   
I am having trouble logging into to my account. Edit

When you log onto our site at www.oxpublishing.com, enter your user ID.  Then click "forgot password" and follow the prompts to reset it.  Then you can move forward. If you have forgotten your user ID, go the the tab marked "Contact Us", and fill out a request.  A customer service person will email your customer ID to you.

   
How can I get the eBook I wrote to be available on your site? Edit

Ox Publishing, at this time, does not accept original manuscripts or eBooks. There are many Publishers available on the Web.

   
How long will my eBook remain available for download, and can I download more than once? Edit

We will store your books for you for 6 months. You can download onto one or more computers that you own, a laptop, etc. If you receive an error message, please contact our support staff using our contact page.

   
Why should I activate my Reader, and how do I do it? Edit

The process requires that you activate before you can download. In this way, you are identified as the rightful owner of the eBook. It protects you and the Copyright of the eBook. 

   
Can I read my book on a hand held device, such as a palm? Edit

We do not support handhalds due to the wide variety of versions. Some books will be readable on your handheld device but we offer no garantee that the books you purchase will be viewable on a handheld device.

Ox Publishing does not have an email marketing program, thus if you have received spam regarding our products, you were contacted by someone outside of our company.  We do not condone spam, and would be happy to help you track it down if you can forward us the email sent to you.  If you know where the email came from, simply respond to them to be removed.  Otherwise, send us the email to help@oxpublishing.com and we'll do our best to help you.

   
Can you mail me additional information? Edit

At Ox Publishing, we have worked hard to become a completely paperless, online eBook store.  Everything we have and offer is on our website thus we do not have marketing materials to send you. 

   

CREDIT ACCOUNT/BILLING QUESTIONS

If I have a question regarding my account, how do I get help? Edit

Most of the questions you will have will be available in these FAQ's. Should you have other questions, please contact our Support Staff by utilizing our contact page...click on the blue tab that says "Contact Us" and fill out the form.  Due to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, we prefer to respond by email so we have a digital record of all communications.

   
When I apply for an account, I am requested to pay a certain amount? Is this a membership or application fee? Edit

No, we do not charge membership fees or application fees. However, when you complete a miminum purchase of eBooks, you may be granted a line of credit. Your purchase can be paid for all at once, or you can elect to pay a portion up front and place a portion on your new credit line. That balance is reported to the credit bureaus monthly.  You will receive an invoice approx. 10 days prior to your due date by the email address with which you registered. 

   
When will I be billed my monthly payment? Edit

Our billing and reporting cycles are monthly.  You will receive an online statement around 10 days prior to your due date (which is the day of the month in which you completed your first transaction with us), and again 3 days after the due date.  We are precluded by our agreements with the Bureaus to divulge which ones, but we do report to multiple bureaus.

   
How do I make my payment? Edit

The invoice will come to the email address with which you registered.  Any time you wish, you can log on to our website at www.oxpublishing.com, click on the tabs across the top that says "my account", then click on "my invoices" to view your current account statement and balance. 

   
Can I have the payment come out of my account automatically? Edit

Currently we have no auto-pay. Currently, you will be invoiced once per month about 10 days prior to your due date at the email address with which you registered.

   
Can you mail me my bill instead of emailing it to me? Edit

One of the ways that we can maintain our low prices is by working in a completely paperless environment. If you do not have your own computer we recommend that you use the access provided by the library for free, or an internet café, or ask a friend or relative to keep up with your account.

   
Can I apply for more than one credit account? Edit

Yes, of course, you can have more than one account. Simply login to your existing user account and apply for another line of credit.

   
How do you report to the credit bureau, if you do not have my social security number? Edit

Well, the answer is…we can't.   If you did not give us your social security number when you first applied, you need to log back into your account and update your profile.

   
What happens to my account if I do not pay my bill on time? Edit

 

There is a reminder sent to you by email 5 days prior to your due date.  Additionally, there is a 3 day grace period.  When you get to be 30 days late, we contact you.  If you don't resolve it, then we report your delinquency with our next cycle.  Hopefully this practice will get you in the habit of paying each month on time.  We have also instituted another reminder…a post card sent by snail mail.  It should arrive a week or so ahead of your due date, as well, to help you remember. 

   
Which Credit bureaus do you report to? Edit

We are unable to answer that question directly.  We report to multiple bureaus, but because of our agreements with them, are unable to state which ones.

We do not mail physical "cards" to our account holders as this is an online credit account for purchases at Ox Publishing only. Once your credit account is set established, you can login to your user account on the website, select your purchases and choose to charge them to your account.

   
What else can I purchase with my Ox Publishing card? Edit

An Ox Publishing credit account is for Ox Publishing merchandise only. When you purchase a pre-designed package of eBooks, you may be granted a line of credit. That package of eBooks can be paid for all at once, or you can elect to pay a portion up front and place a portion on your new credit line. What happens if I change my mind and wish to cancel after I have completed my application and minimum purchase? Edit

Ox Publishing incurs expenses in processing your application and payment method, especially if it is declined.  Therefore, a $50 fee is assessed as a "Cancellation Fee" for anyone in this situation.
